If any portion of a sewer lateral is dug up and repaired or replaced – the Authority requires a permit to be pulled and inspection to be conducted by Authority personnel. **Inspections are NOT conducted on weekends.
The Authority recently experienced a sanitary sewer main blocked entirely by “flushable” wipes. Regardless of the packaging, “flushable” wipes should not be flushed!
